Operating from a place of compassion and empathy, Emma has worked with children and youth from diverse backgrounds for over ten years. Throughout that time, she has worked as a Child and Youth Worker within Indigenous and Caribbean communities, in Canada and abroad.
Emma aims to ensure that the relationships she develops fosters safety, security, and affirmation. She is passionate about walking alongside individuals in their healing journey to support their overall well-being.
Emma has a diploma in General Science, a Bachelor’s in Social Science with a concentration in Child and Youth Studies, and is currently completing her Master’s in Clinical Counselling.
She incorporates family systems, emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed approaches. Emma offers support for children, youth, and young adults through their mental health, identity concerns, and life transitions.
