Annmarie Etuk is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She attained a Masters (M.A.) in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cognitive Science and a minor in Psychology at York University, and she is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology in Grief Counselling. In addition, she is currently a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a Certified Canadian Counsellor.
Annmarie has connected with individuals from diverse populations through her various volunteer experiences with newcomers to Canada. She has experience working with youth from various socioeconomic backgrounds across the GTA. In addition, she has experience working with children from her yearlong undergraduate practicum placement at the Africentric Alternative School within Toronto.
Annmarie’s area of passion includes helping children, individuals, youth, and the young adult population. She utilizes various modalities including CBT, Narrative, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
With kindness and understanding at the forefront, Annmarie hopes to work with clients to identify their various strengths and provide numerous tools to facilitate positive lifelong change.
Annmarie’s self-care practices include shopping, trying new restaurants, journalling, and spending time with family and friends.
